About Us
nudinits are the brain child of Sarah Simi. Having watched far too many Carry On films as a child and with too much time on her hands in around 2015, the idea of nudinits came upon her while walking the dog. She soon realised the idea would make a wonderful stop motion animation in the style of The Clangers and all the Smallfilms she watched as a child and set about learning how to make stop motion puppets. She then found animator Ed Hartwell to work with and together they made their first film with nudinits, 'Tickled Pink'. They entered the animation into some film festivals, won a couple of awards and nudinits was born. They have gone on to produce two more nudinit films and a range of books, calendars, cards and all manner of product.
Sarah and Ed now run a stop motion animation studio called Woolly Vision, based in London where they make animation with wool, fabric and felt.
